Jojo peaked in part 5. Change my mind. I havent read any manga because i do not want to spoil it for myself or pirate this masterpiece lol.
Woah
parts that i’ve seen ranked 1. sbr 9/10 2. diu 8.5/10 3. bt 7/10 4. pb 6/10 5. so 5/10 6. gw 3/10 7. sc 3/10
Stands are just Buff Nen.
Gotta love diavolo and part 5, that was a masterpiece. Diavolo for me is the greatest villain in the whole show and the part 5 every fight was, all out hardcore fight, that has one of the greatest fight in the Whole show.💥💥🗣️🗣️
Thank you ❤
part 4 anime was the worst to me, loved part 5 and 6.
wow
I swear chainsaw man learned me a lesson... I have goose bumps
Parts 1-5 are peak Jojo for me
Started reading chainsaw man just so I could watch this :)
Makes me wonder if the dark continent will be mroe of what it is to be a individual. Especially since the Dark Continent is a very dangerous place. I hope Togashi can spill his heart out in that arc
Very good video. Thank you for analysis.
THIS IS THE BEST VIDEO I HAVE EVER SEEN
It's been almost 2 years now please some new videos ik one piece isn't slowing down anytime soon but i wish you could take a break and focus on other channels too
11:25 ??? Joskue deliberately TRIES to look like this guy for one, and its also told from the perspective of josuke who was like 6 when this happened and dying! I dont think it takes a "hardcore defender" to say that nothing about this says its josuke from the past or whatever the fuck... I MEAN THE SCENE TAKES PLACE IN A BLACK VOID FOR FUCKS SAKE! What did they get zoomed to a pocket dimension too just because it looks like they are? Gimme a break...
i love joylne and i’m not even the target audience for her which is woman jojo fans. she’s honestly rlly cool and it’s amazing that araki learned to write women as characters better because of his wife and kids 🥲 bless arakis heart
Steel ball run is mid
I disagree but I see why
me when I lie:
7:12 That "many" clearly don't know of Nen from Hunter x Hunter, huh?
First 2 episodes and the last one of the First has more narrative weight than 80% of it all, i think. When stel-brothers have proper dynamic. When Dio has little power, but immense ego and desires so he pettily abuses anything lower than him, while he's touched by anyone higher. It's cool. I would love to see more of it.
Thinking the pompadour guy was actually josuke going back in time is a huge red flag lmao, there's no way i can take you seriously
why this shit is age restricted I'll never know
2:12 starts.
Jesus Christ the whole segment on Diamond is Unbreakable was painful to watch. It’s pretty clear that you didn’t understand the point of a lot of plot points. The point of the plot with Okuyasu’s dad wasn’t to find someone to fix him, it was that Keicho wanted to find someone to kill him and Okuyasu could have easily, but he didn’t want to give his younger brother the heartache of having to kill his brother, it’s meant to make you sympathise with Keicho and make you hate Akira Otoishi more. The point of the plot with Shizuka Joestar (Achtung Baby’s user) wasn’t to find her mother, it was to show Joseph’s growth as a person with him taking responsibility and raising a child instead of abandoning him like Josuke. And the part about the man who saved Josuke is literally just you making shit up. There was never any sign that it was a time travel plot, Araki never said that it was going to be a time travel plot at any point in the making of part 4, and you also act like pompadours weren’t a real hairstyle that were popular in the 80s, especially among Yankii, a delinquent subculture that the person who saved Josuke belonged to. Seriously, what the hell were you writing with that part of the video?
man this was so good
19:46 Power didn’t deserve that… especially when she brought him a cake.
Stone ocean is dogshit, boring enemies boring main cast
Never cook again
Starter Jolyne: horny prisoner with daddy issues. End game Jolyne: bad ass, gurl boss, stand user (who’s not so horny now).
Part 8 was a confusing mess and I love it. Every part got progressively stranger and more bizarre
20:46 "incorporates a lot of ideas and threads that ultimately go underdeveloped" *shows true mans world* what do you mean by that?
not really, for me it's going down after season 2
It was so interesting. I started watching the series in Japanese without subtitles in season 2 and I had absolutely no issues following the story…. Until I got to Josuke’s storyline. By the third episode I realized I had to put the subtitles back on. The story was so much more complex and though I could still follow the basic plot I was missing so many details in the stand battles. This is a great demonstration of the increase in writing and story complexity
will you ever continue this channel
I thought i'd hafta watch like a million videos to breakdown that anime, but after watching yours now i don't need to watch another video 'cuz you did a masterpiece. ❤You're truly an Artist, keep it up !
They all look weaker generation after generation
Part 6 is the worst part in my oppinion (atleast the 1st part of part 6)
Valid take
@@jackkennedy3119 tnx
Agreed, its a massive retcon in my opinion. they established a powerful stand that can counter everything in part 5, but somehow giorno doesnt even aware when time accelerated universally. then a characters from previous part became more stupid in later part, ex: jotaro who's formidable and can beat someone with just sheer pressure reduced to mid npc
@@frey6955 Never cook again lil bro
@@frey6955 GER can't revert MiH's time acceleration because its not a threat to Giorno, he's still alive and unharmed during and after Pucci's universe reset. Also how was Jotaro an NPC??? He was up against a godlike, almost unbeatable stand, you can't blame him for losing
Skip intro
They got more skinnier
What’s the ost that you used for this video?
Yeah romance was really never that amazing, it’s about having mutual trust and respect for your friends and partner and making compromises for each other’s sake is what I would define a meaningful relationship.
"JoJo's" makes me shudder
Jojo is the only anime/manga I've ever seen that actually gets better the more you get into it.
Is there a full version of that thumbnail for the video lol
I... was spoiled. damn..
6:37 that was a fire song transition GAH DAMN
6:17 Haman😭❓
W
Well, this helped explain why I don't care for this series at all. I just feel nothing at all for these themes. They're boring and too all-or-nothing.
Great video! Nice! Greatly discusses various topics on the Philosophy of Chainsaw Man
Part5 sucks tho
how so??
no???
I’ve seen Araki get criticized a lot for leaving certain plot threads open. But I’ve never felt this. I think it’s great world building to have an area of interest introduced only to never see it followed up upon. They are a red herring that leave the audience guessing, wondering what is the real point of focus for the story. It happens in real life all the time (obviously in a far less dramatic fashion) and it lets us know there are things going on outside the main story that broaden the scope of the world. Back when I wanted to be a writer and would create my own (terrible) stories I’d always try and introduce threads like these that weee random and interesting but something that wasn’t fully relevant to the main story. Good for Araki for being brave enough to write in this fashion. Also, with the manner in which manga is written, on the fly without the ability to go back and change things, it gives the author options where he can use these threads to tie back into the plot. They’re like fail safe devices. And I’m glad he uses them.
